The Book of Jebb, Jammin' Biscuits to perform at Praise on the Prairie event

Newton, Kan.– Prairie View will host its third annual Praise on the Prairie event Thursday, June 14. Praise on the Prairie is a free, faith-based concert that is open to the public.

This year’s featured musical guests are The Book of Jebb and headliner Jammin’ Biscuits, a local group that performs bluegrass, both gospel and traditional, with distinctive four-part harmony.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held on the front lawn of Prairie View’s Newton campus, located at 1901 East First Street. Those attending should plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket and water.

Admission is free; however, donations to support Prairie View’s ministry will be accepted.

The event is sponsored by Conrade Insurance Group, First Bank and Midland National Bank.
