Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meets April 14 at Prairie View in McPherson

NEWTON, Kan. (April 7, 2015) – “Parkinson’s and Exercise: Bringing Movement to a Movement Disorder” is the topic for the next meeting of Prairie View’s monthly Parkinson’s Disease Support Group. It meets from 2 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 14 in the community room at Prairie View, 1102 Hospital Drive in McPherson, Kansas.

David McDonald, PhD, LP

David McDonald, Ph.D., licensed psychologist, leads the group. It is open to anyone interested in Parkinson’s disease, including caregivers and care receivers.

Dr. McDonald received his bachelor of sciences degree in psychology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from American University in Washington, D.C. He completed his psychology internship at COMCARE in Wichita, Kansas, and has been part of the Prairie View team since 2012.
