NEWTON, Kan. (April 8, 2015) – The West Wichita Caregiver Group will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 21 in the conference room at Prairie View’s Reflection Ridge office, 7570 W. 21st St. N., Suite 1026-D, Wichita, Kansas.
Martin Ward, Ph.D., will lead discussion on “Helpful Books and Friendly Groups.”
Dr. Ward is a licensed psychologist who works with adults and older adults at Prairie View’s west Wichita office. He provides psychotherapy and testing for a variety of problems, including stress, anxiety, depression and brain illnesses. Ward has served clients at Prairie View for six years.
The West Wichita Caregiver Group meets the third Tuesday of each month at Prairie View’s Reflection Ridge office. It is open to caregivers for older adults and offers education, mutual support and problem solving with others who are dealing with similar caregiving situations. This includes caregivers whose care receiver has any illness, including dementia.
