Counting Our Blessings: Giving Tuesday 2021

November 29, 2021

Prairie View is overjoyed and grateful to our donors, partners, volunteers and friends every day of the year, but it's great to have one day to spend the whole day counting our blessings. November 30, 2021, is Giving Tuesday, and it is a special time to find your passion and support Prairie View’s mission to foster healing and growth in individuals and communities by providing behavioral and mental health services with compassion, competence, and stewardship in the spirit of Christ.

This Giving Tuesday, are you considering giving back to your community? During this season of giving and gratitude, some reasons to give to Prairie View include: it provides personal satisfaction to give of oneself, you stay connected and support your community, it gives others hope, it’s one way to show your gratitude, it can inspire someone else to give, and you know your gift will help someone in need.

Giving Tuesday is a worldwide day of generosity and a time to consider supporting Prairie View with a gift that reflects your interests. Your gift can make an impact by:

  • Supporting mental health care for those who cannot afford it
  • Supporting substance abuse treatment for those suffering with addictions
  • Alleviating mental suffering stemming from the effects of the pandemic
  • Improving access for those who need medication to stabilize behavioral conditions
  • Helping those in crisis who need access to a licensed clinician in a moment’s notice
  • Helping us continue our mission to serve 10,000+ clients each year

Our goal on this Giving Tuesday is simple: We want to do whatever we can to advance Prairie View mission through the power of philanthropy. All gifts made on Giving Tuesday are tax-deductible, and each gift – no matter the size – has a direct impact on our organization and those we serve.
