Beeson, Mann Receive Promotions at Prairie View

NEWTON, Kan. (May 19, 2023) – Prairie View announces the promotions of two employees: Dr. Jodie Beeson and Carla Mann.
Beeson, who most recently served as Director of Development, has been promoted to Associate Vice President of Development. In this role, she is responsible for grant management: grant writing, post-award reporting and coordination with the finance department regarding grant funding. She serves as project evaluator for the nearly $4 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to help propel Prairie View to Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) status. Beeson also oversees marketing, fundraising and community relations, and serves on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team.
“I look forward to leading and supporting a team of talented individuals on the Development team,” she says, “to provide funding and a coordinated message of Prairie View’s core values, services and activities.”
Mann has been promoted to Chief of Staff after serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO.
In her new role, she will serve as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Medical Director; support Executive Team members through collaboration to determine and prioritize strategies; plan events; coordinate schedules; oversee credentialing; update policies; assist with the CCBHC certification, plan monthly employee activities; identify and help to solve core problems or opportunities within the organization’s processes; provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives; and identify and provide recommendations on improvements across the organization.
