Prairie View proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Jermaine Pennington as Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Senior Project Manager. Dr. Pennington's promotion reflects his outstanding leadership and dedication, marking a significant chapter in Prairie View's history of transformative mental health care in Kansas.
Dr. Pennington brings a wealth of experience, having served the Wichita community for the past 20 years. His diverse background includes:
- Ministry: Dr. Pennington is a church planter with a successful track record of establishing and nurturing three thriving congregations, fostering spiritual growth and community engagement.
- Health Care: As a chaplain and administrator in hospice, hospital settings, and long-term care, Dr. Pennington has provided compassionate support in critical healthcare environments.
- Social Services: Dr. Pennington has excelled in social services, serving as a community mobilizer and coalition builder around public health initiatives, showcasing his dedication to community well-being.
In addition to his impactful community service, Dr. Pennington holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Public Health, and a Doctorate in Ministry. He is a proud husband to Sara and a devoted father to sons Jackson and Jordan.
