Griffith Joins Prairie View-McPherson Clinical Staff

NEWTON, Kan. (February 11, 2019) – Prairie View welcomes Jessica C. Griffith, LMSW, to its clinical staff.
Griffith is a licensed master social worker and provides individual and family outpatient therapy to individuals 11 years of age and older at Prairie View’s McPherson office, located at 1102 Hospital Drive.
“Seeking peaceful and ethical work has been a lifelong goal of mine, as is deepening my understanding of how to help those in my community in a purposeful way,” says Griffith. “Mental health services are needed in communities both big and small. I felt that pursuing a career as a clinical social worker would be a way to help grow where I am planted.”
Her treatment specialties include anger management, geriatric issues, gender issues, marital issues, OCD, anxiety, sexual abuse, ADHD, bereavement, PTSD, spouse/partner abuse and stress reduction.
Griffith earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Wichita State University in 2017 and a master’s degree in social work from Wichita State University in 2018.
“I want to build the resiliency in my community by providing mental health services with respect, dignity and accessibility,” says Griffith.
