Kitchen Joins Prairie View-Newton Staff

NEWTON, Kan. (June 6, 2022) – Tony Kitchen, a licensed master addiction counselor and licensed master social worker, joins the clinical staff at Prairie View’s Newton campus.

He provides substance use evaluations and individual, family and group therapy to individuals 18 years of age and older. In addition to outpatient addiction treatment, Kitchen also has interest in treating anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders and relational issues, including parenting issues, domestic violence, relationship stress, marriage, separation or divorce, and grief or loss.

“I have a spiritual basis of practice and my purpose is to help all my clients to heal, learn about recovery, and to provide a positive experience with treatment,” he says.

Kitchen holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree in Philosophy, a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and a Master of Social Work degree, all from the University of Kansas.
