Lang Joins PV Staff as Nurse Practitioner

NEWTON, Kan. (December 19, 2018) – Kristal Lang, APRN, PMHNP-BC, joins the Prairie View staff.
Lang, a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified, serves as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She provides psychiatric assessment and medication management to children, adolescents and adults ages 6 to 65 at Prairie View’s Newton campus, located at 1901 E. First Street, and at Prairie View’s West Wichita office, located at 7570 W. 21st Street North, Suite 1026-D.
“I especially like to work with children,” says Lang. “Childhood can be an especially difficult transition time for anyone, particularly when facing the challenges of mental illness and trauma.”
Lang earned bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Nursing from Pittsburg State University and a Master of Science in Nursing-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University.
