Prairie View Adds Clinical Staff

NEWTON, Kan. – Prairie View Inc., welcomes Jean Anderson, Carri Kliewer and Emily Sauber to its clinical staff.

Jean Anderson is a licensed specialist clinical social worker, and works with adults 18 years of age and older at Prairie View’s East Wichita office, located at 9333 E. 21st Street North.

“From a young age,” she says, “I have been able to assist individuals in identifying their strengths by connecting with them and assisting them to reach their fullest potential.”

Some of Anderson’s treatment specialties include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress management, relationship issues, and grief and loss.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and her master in social work from Newman University.

Carri Kliewer, PA-C, believes “it is very rewarding when you see patients able to participate in life again, and to see the impact on families when patients improve.”

Kliewer is a psychiatric physician assistant at Prairie View’s Newton and West Wichita locations. She formulates and initiates treatment plans for medication management for adolescents, adults and older adults on an outpatient basis.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Tabor College, her master’s from Emporia State University, and a bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University. Kliewer comes to Prairie View with over 15 year

Emily Sauber is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and provides outpatient clinical therapy to children, adolescents and adults at Prairie View-McPherson, located at 1102 Hospital Drive.

She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Wichita State University, and her master’s of marriage and family therapy from Friends University.

“I hope that my clients can see the strength, resilience, and courage I see in each of them,” says Sauber. “I hope that my clients will experience a kind, calm, caring, understanding and non-judgmental presence. My ultimate hope is that they can learn to manage their stress and symptoms and live happy, fulfilling lives.”
