Prairie View Names Associate Vice President

January 9, 2023

NEWTON, Kan. (January 9, 2023) – Bryant Miller, LCMFT, RPT, has been named Associate Vice President at Prairie View. In this new role, he will assist both clinical and community-based services programs in preparing for transition to become a certified community behavioral health center (CCBHC).

Prairie View received a grant totaling nearly $4 million in September 2022 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA), to assist Prairie View in the planning for and development and implementation of a CCBHC.

Miller has been employed by Prairie View for seven years, serving previously as a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist and director of community-based services. These roles have taught him that building and maintaining relationships is key to being a team and creating a positive environment.

“I am excited to cultivate relationships with Prairie View staff I have not had the chance to work closely with yet as well as build our CCBHC programming to best serve our community and the people who seek services with Prairie View,” says Miller.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to serve others in this leadership role and continue Prairie View’s mission to foster healing and growth in individuals and communities by providing behavioral and mental health services with compassion, competence and stewardship in the spirit of Christ.”
