Prairie View Names DeLaney Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations

NEWTON, Kan. (February 16, 2023) – Cassandra DeLaney, PsyD, LP, has been named Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations at Prairie View. In this new role, she will lead clinical operations, along with process improvement and efficiency efforts in preparing for the organization’s transition to become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC).
Prairie View received a grant totaling nearly $4 million in September 2022 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA), to assist Prairie View in the planning for and development and implementation of a CCBHC.
Dr. DeLaney has been employed at Prairie View for nearly 15 years, most recently serving as Director of Clinical Operations and Clinician Supervisor.
“My goal has always been to help others,” she says.
Matt Ankenbrandt, chief financial officer, says, “Dr. DeLaney has been a phenomenal employee for Prairie View since the day she started, and in this expanded role, she will further propel the organization forward.”
While she will miss the personal interactions with patients in her new role, she is looking forward to the opportunity to help Prairie View become a CCBHC.
