Prairie View’s Wichita Offices Welcome Hall as Outpatient Clinician
January 13, 2022
NEWTON, Kan. (January 13, 2022) – Melissa Hall, LMSW, LMAC, joins both the East and West Wichita Prairie View locations as an outpatient clinician. She provides cognitive behavioral therapy and addiction treatment to individuals and couples between the ages of 18 and 85.
Working as a first responder for seven years opened Hall’s eyes to the damage that crime, domestic violence and other traumatic events can affect people and their mindset.
“To be able to be someone who can help them process those events in their life gave me motivation to give back to my community in a different way,” says Hall. “I chose cognitive behavioral therapy as my primary treatment modality because I believe in its foundations, and how changing your thoughts can change your outcomes.”
Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University and a Master of Social Work from Newman University.
