Schrag named Prairie View’s Director of Advancement

NEWTON, Kan. – Eric Schrag joins the Prairie View staff as Director of Advancement, effective June 1.
“I so much value and appreciate the work that Prairie View has done and continues to do,” he says. “I look forward to joining the team and am anxious for the ways that Prairie View will grow and serve the larger community in years to come.”
A Newton native and Bethel College graduate, Schrag has extensive experience in marketing and fundraising.
He spent six years in marketing and development at Bethesda Home, Goessel, before becoming CEO/Administrator of the long-term care facility – a position he held for five years.
Schrag most recently served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Bethel College.
“We are so pleased that someone with Eric’s impressive background will be joining our Leadership Team. His past involvement in healthcare and history with church-related organizations will be very compatible with his role at Prairie View,” according to Jessie Kaye, President and CEO.
As Director of Advancement at Prairie View, Schrag’s primary responsibility will be to engage Prairie View’s constituency in fulfilling its faith-based mission by responding to the need for charitable support through fund-raising activities, including individual, congregational, corporate and planned giving. He will also oversee church and community relations.
