Child & Youth Services
For children and adolescents, behavioral and emotional disturbances can affect the rest of their lives.
We can help. Our professional, licensed staff provides a variety of services designed to meet the needs of your child and family. Our park-like campus is a refuge from life’s distractions, offering space and freedom to deal with life’s issues. We work closely with parents and caregivers to create an environment where children will be successful.
Outpatient Therapy Services are ideal for early intervention. Our team can provide effective care planning for a number of struggles. Specialty areas include: depression, anxiety, grief, sexual health, behavior issues, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, anger and more.
Play Therapy is a form of counseling or psychotherapy that uses play-based models and techniques to better communicate with and help children. Through play therapy, children learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn ways to relate to others. Play also provides a safe psychological distance from their problems and allows expression of thoughts and feelings appropriate to their development.
Learning Disorders and Academic Assessments are designed to clarify problem areas and strengths for students to determine if a different teaching method may be more helpful in their learning. Academic Assessments will:
- Measure intellectual ability and academic skills
- Provide a profile of learning strengths and weaknesses
- Determine if learning assistance is needed and what may help
Community Based Services is a model of service adopted to serve children within the community who have a severe emotional disturbance (SED) and provide support to their families. Using a team approach, these services encourage families, schools, medical professionals and community resources to be part of the treatment plan. Services available include:

- Medication Services
