Turning Point Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility

Turning Point is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for children between the ages of 10 and 17 years old. We help children with severe behavioral and/or emotional treatment needs. Our team works with your family to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to the needs of your child. Our goal is to help your child learn coping and social skills to live well within your family and around others.

Each child receives holistic care from a multidisciplinary team of professionals, academic instruction through our Special Purpose School, and assessment and medication management by a psychiatrist throughout their stay if necessary. Additional experiences a child might have at Turning Point include the Prairie View Adventure Course, hikes and wildlife viewing on our 80-acre campus, alternative group therapies such as art and drumming and the Prairie View labyrinth.
