Flaming Rejoins Prairie View Staff

NEWTON, Kan. – Patrick Flaming, RN, recently rejoined Prairie View, Inc.’s staff as Director of Access Services. He had previously been employed by Prairie View from 2000 to 2016, most recently serving as Director of Inpatient Services from 2008 to 2016.
In this new position, Flaming will direct an efficient and patient service-oriented scheduling and service delivery process.
“My primary focus is getting people connected to the right level of care as soon as possible,” he says. “There are so many opportunities to improve accessibility. I’ll be working collaboratively with providers in order to make that happen so we can better serve and care for the people in our communities.”
Flaming will also monitor and evaluate daily communications, logistics and scheduling processes for all levels of care, ensure timely and accurate diagnostic evaluation of patients, ensure the development and maintenance of a customer-friendly admissions and scheduling system, and help identify community needs and opportunities for program development.
Citing his love for Prairie View and the mission of providing mental health services with compassion, competence and stewardship in the spirit of Christ, Flaming says he is passionate about mental health and the educational opportunities it brings, and he will work to help meet people’s needs.
