May 18, 2020
NEWTON, Kan. (May 18, 2020) – Prairie View has received a $1,000 grant from the Central Kansas Community Relief Fund through Central Kansas Community Foundation to support the organization’s efforts in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The grant will be used to purchase essential sanitary items, including personal protective equipment such as masks and gowns.
“We are so grateful for the funds to support the purchase of additional personal protective equipment,” says Eric Schrag, director of advancement at Prairie View. “Like so many in health care, we are working to ensure the continued safety of our clients and staff, and the COVID-19 pandemic has required a tremendous amount of our resources to keep this equipment on hand. We are grateful for the Central Kansas Community Foundation and their generous donors who support ministries like ours in these especially challenging times.”
