Harvey County Caregiver Support Group Meets August 9

NEWTON, Kan. (July 24, 2018) – “Dealing with difficult behaviors” is the topic for the next meeting of Prairie View’s Harvey County Caregiver Support Group. Debra Voth, a licensed specialist clinical social worker, facilitates the caregiver group.
The group meets from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, in Prairie View’s Osage Room, 1901 E. First St., Newton.
The group is open to caregivers for older adults and older adults who are caregivers. It offers education, mutual support and problem solving with others who are dealing with similar situations. This includes caregivers whose care receiver has any illness, including dementia. Admission is free and open to the public.
